EXTENSION 1

Foz do Iguaçu - Iguacu Falls

Day 1 Iguacu - transfer br apt / htl Das Cataratas - iguassu national park visitor's tax igu - Brazilian falls from br htl pass through the brazilian countryside and enter the Iguassu national park, the largest in southern brazil. Visit the park's visitor center with its exhibit on the local eco-system. We then continue down the Cataratas highway through the rainforest from the national park to the falls. The Iguassu falls are on the border of Brazil and Argentina where the Iguassu river drops into a gigantic horseshoe canyon. We descend the walkway, contemplating the lovely waterfalls in all of nature's exuberance, with panoramic views of both the argentine and Brazilian sides.

Day 2 Iguacu - Argentinean falls from htl br side igu - Argentinean park visitor's tax igu - half day Macuco walk and boat ride / Cataratas htl after a quick customs check, we cross the tancredo neves bridge over the Iguassu river, which forms the border between Argentina and brazil. Once in Argentina, we take a a scenic highway up to the argentine Iguacu park. We visit the upper Argentinean falls, including the san martin falls. On our way back from the falls we stop at the "three borders" where the parana and iguacu rivers and Brazil/Argentina Paraguay meet.

Day 3 Iguacu - transfer htl das cataratas / br apt this has become one of the most popular tours in the area. Transfer to the macuco trail in the iguassu national park, where board jeeps, the best form of transport in this rain forest because the road we take is unpaved but accessible the year round. On this trip, the passengers will get to know several different species of sub-tropical plants and trees, including orchids and the heart-of-palm, which grow in abundance here. With luck, animals and some of the beautiful birds of the region may be sighted. After a jeep ride of 3 km, we continue for 600 meters on foot to the picturesque macuco falls, hidden in the forested canyon. The trail brings us to the banks of the iguassu river,here we board twin-engine inflatable boats (capacity:25 passengers each), specially designed for the local river conditions. We then cruise up into the iguassu canyon, shoot several rapids, and arrive to the very base of the majestic waterfalls. As the experienced pilot maneuvers in the midst of the falls themselves, the passenger will have a completely different view and experience a thrill never forgotten.

Location : located in the Cataratas national park, it has a spectacular view of the falls and is 20 minutes away from the airport.
Hotel and facilities : a Brazilian colonial style building, its facilities include: restaurant (Brazilian, and international cuisines), barbecue pit and pool bar in a beautiful swimming pool area.
Rooms : 97 air-conditioned std rooms, 55 superior rooms, 43 deluxe rooms, 03 deluxe suites and 02 presidential suites, with mini bar, tv, pay tv, radio, telephone and safety deposit boxes. Some rooms have only showers, and some have bath and shower.
Observations : two wings have central air-conditioning, and one has individual air-conditioners in the rooms.

EXTENSION 2

Salvador - Bahia

Day 1 Salvador - transfer airport / hotel ssa - half day city tour - historic they will enjoy the exciting experience of returning to the past of bahia, traveling through the centuries. See the historic relics, the religious art and the "pelourinho", the most important complex of colonial baroque architecture in latin america. (churches are closed on sundays).

Day 2 Salvador - full day cachoeira including lunch now it is time to visit the other part of the city, which contrasts, with the historical part. Main attractions are: the fortress of mont serrat, the mercado modelo (market for afro-brazilian handicraft), church of bonfim - the most popular church of bahia - and beautiful residential beaches area.

Day 3 Salvador - full day schooner cruise including lunch on board the schooner, as we put out, we shall have the best view of the high and low city, old and modern, of the são marcelo fort, the port of salvador, the lacerda elevator, the rio branco palace, the mercado modelo and the ramp. We reach the most beautiful island, where we will have a delicious swim and soak in sun and beauty, resting on the beach. We will board the schooner again, heading to the itaparica island, where we will stop for lunch and a short tour through the old colonial town, until 3:00pm when we will return to salvador

Day 4 Salvador - half day city tour - panoramic

Location : located 300 meters away from lovely itapuan beach, it is 20 minutes away from the airport, and 30 minutes from historic downtown salvador.
Hotel and facilities: rustic brazilian decor with full leisure facilites: 3 restaurants (one international, two regional cuisines), piano bar, pool bar, sauna, swimming pool, 3 floodlit tennis courts, 4 paddle courts, volleyball court, lake with paddle boat, and a 9 hole golf course.
