The Lakes Region, also known as the Costa do Sol, is famed for its picturesque resorts, such as Búzios. All around the peninsula, boats, launches, dinghies and yachts dot the horizon with a kaleidoscope of colors and shapes.
Originally from Czechoslovakia, Brigitta has lived in Buzios since the mid eighties. Originally her home, she has converted it into one of the best Seafood Restaurants in Brazil. The recipies with which the seafood is prepared are undoubtedly delicious and worth the drive from Rio. Pousada
Chez Pitu Delightful little Guest House at the entrance of Buzios. Chez Pitu is a quaint Pousada right on the Cabo Frio beach. The rooms are extremely comfortable with overhead noiseless fans. The central part of Buzios is a short drive away. Renting beach buggies and summer cars can be arranged by the hotel to explore the areas.
